A organização da gamescom latam 2026 anunciou os finalistas do gamescom latam BIG Festival 2026, premiação dedicada à celebração de jogos independentes que integra a programação oficial do evento. A edição deste ano registrou recorde histórico de participação, com 966 jogos inscritos por desenvolvedores de 75 países, consolidando o festival como um dos principais espaços globais para títulos indie.

Considerado um dos maiores festivais de jogos independentes do mundo, o BIG Festival selecionou 81 jogos finalistas, que serão exibidos ao público durante a realização do evento. Além da demonstração aberta para visitantes, os títulos também disputarão diversas categorias da premiação e terão a oportunidade de apresentar seus projetos para investidores, publishers e profissionais da indústria.

O alcance internacional da edição de 2026 também representa um marco para o festival. Pela primeira vez, o evento recebeu inscrições de 75 países diferentes, ampliando significativamente sua presença global. O Brasil lidera em número de inscrições, com 451 jogos enviados, enquanto outros países da América Latina somaram 87 projetos, reforçando o crescimento da produção independente na região.

No panorama geral, as Américas concentraram 608 inscrições, enquanto a Europa registrou 197 projetos enviados. O festival também contou com participação de quatro continentes e registrou a estreia de novos países na competição, incluindo Ilhas Åland, Andorra, Brunei e Omã, ampliando ainda mais a diversidade geográfica representada entre os participantes.

Entre os 81 finalistas, 28 jogos são da América Latina, com destaque novamente para o Brasil, que conta com 15 títulos selecionados. Outros países da região presentes na lista incluem Argentina, México, Colômbia, Costa Rica e Uruguai. Durante o evento, os finalistas poderão apresentar seus jogos ao público e também estabelecer contatos com investidores e publishers interessados em novos projetos.

Alguns títulos aparecem como os principais concorrentes desta edição após receberem múltiplas indicações. Entre os destaques estão Aether & Iron, Keep Driving, MIO: Memories in Orbit, Moonlighter 2 e TetherGeist, cada um com quatro indicações em diferentes categorias do festival. Outro nome de peso na lista é Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, indicado nas categorias Melhor Som e Melhor Jogo, após ganhar grande destaque internacional em 2025.

Entre as categorias da premiação estão Melhor Arte, Melhor Narrativa, Melhor Gameplay, Melhor Som, Inovação, Melhor Jogo, Melhor Jogo: Brasil, Melhor Jogo: América Latina, BIG Impact, Melhor Multiplayer, Melhor Jogo Infantil, Melhor Jogo Estudante, Melhor Jogo Mobile, Melhor Jogo Casual e Melhor XR/VR. Os vencedores serão anunciados durante a realização do evento, que reunirá desenvolvedores, publishers e fãs da indústria para celebrar a criatividade e inovação no cenário independente.
